Stromboli

The kids love this one.  I like to get creative with the stuffing ingredients, but Lainie is a pepperoni gal, and she's the boss!  Making it half & half is also an option.  Go wild, get creative with the stuffing ingredients!

Stromboli

2 Boxes Jiffy Pizza Mix
1 Cup Flour
Pepperoni
you can also use sausage, ham, salami, anything you like!
Mozzarella Cheese, shredded, about 2-3 cups
Olive Oil for brushing, a couple TBS
Italian Seasoning for Sprinkling, about 1/2 Tsp
Pizza Sauce (I use a 14oz jar)

Preheat oven to 375F

Mix Jiffy Pizza Mix according to directions (I add about 1/2 cup extra flour so it isn't so sticky).
Turn dough onto floured surface, knead until dough isn't sticky, adding flour as needed.
Press dough into a rectangle 1/4 inch thick, about a 9x13 dimension.

Put on a layer of your choice of meat, leaving and inch boarder all the way around.  Add a layer of cheese, another layer of meat and a final layer of cheese.

From the long end start rolling, tucking in the ends.  Place seam side down onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.  Brush Stromboli roll with Olive Oil and sprinkle with Italian Seasonings.
Bake at 375F for 25-35mn, until golden brown.

Take out of the oven and let rest for 5-10mn.  Slice the Stromboli and serve with warmed Pizza Sauce of your choice.
