Apple Dumplings

This dessert is so easy, they look and taste like you spent all day making them.....just a little slice of Heaven!







Apple Dumplings

Preheat oven to 350F

1 Granny Smith apple
1 Package Pilsbury Crescent Rolls
1/2 Cup Butter
2/3 Cup Sugar
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1/4 Tsp Nutmeg
3/4 Cup Mountain Dew

Peel, core and slice apple into 8 pieces.  Separate the Crescent dough and roll 1 apple slice into each crescent.  Place apple filled crescent into an 8x8 baking dish.
Melt Butter in saucepan and sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.  Whisk together until combined, when mixture starts tho thicken take off heat and pour over the apple dumplings and add the Mountain Dew to the edges and down center of the pan.

Core, Peel and cut into 8 wedges
Roll apple into crescent



Place in baking dish
Making butter mixture
Cover with butter mixture and add Mountain Dew

 









Out of the Oven
Makes a nice sauce for icecream
